prodecures that we offer at the clinic are as follows:
Botox
Diminish and minimize worry lines, frown lines and over-animated facial furrows with Botox. It is also effective on forehead creases, crows feet near the eyes and thick bands in the neck. It starts working within days and lasts 3-6
months. Botox gives the face a relaxed, serene,
smooth and peaceful appearance (as seen to the right ). The way Botox works is by blocking nerve impulses, causing muscle relaxation. This means that wrinkles in the skin will soon smooth out, making you look much more relaxed and youthful. There is no pain felt from the Botox Cosmetic product.
Non-surgical Facelift
With multiple sessions of Microcurrent Therapy, the visibility of wrinkles, lines and puffiness are reduced dramatically. Microcurrent Therapy provides nourishment for the skin and bolsters its natural regenerative processes, stimulating the release of both collagen and elastin. This procedure offers the look and feel of a traditional facelift, without the surgery, pain, or recovery time.
Soft Tissue Fillers
(Restylane, Perlane, Teosyal, Revanesse, Juvederm)
Soft Tissue Fillers are products of hyaluronic acid that are injected into deep grooves, scars
and lines to smoothen their appearance (as seen to the right). The soft, malleable fillers are
also employed to
augment the lips, cheeks, and chin. Most fillers will last up to 6 months. See animation (from Restylane) for more:
Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a series of relatively painless
injections of vitamins, minerals, medications, and amino acids just under the surface of the skin. It can cause rejuvenation of the face and neck, cellulite reduction (as seen to the right), spot weight reduction, and hair regrowth. Unlike surgery, Mesotherapy requires no post-operative recovery time, no heavy bandages or girdles, and no anesthesia.
Light rejuvenation therapy
The treatment works by stimulating the dermal layer of the skin to produce more collagen, which "plumps out" fine lines or wrinkles. Your eyes will be protected with specially designed goggles during the treatment. An initial course of five treatments may be needed to achieve the desired effect, and a further treatment every six months helps to maintain this effect.
Sclerotherapy
To decrease the appearance of varicose veins, sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution into veins with a very fine needle to cause inflammation and collapse. The procedure lasts between 15 to 30 minutes (depending on the number of areas being treated). No sedation or anesthesia is needed. The treated vessels will then gradually disappear over the month following the procedure.
Yellow peel
A progressive peel that results from the application of a specially-formulated yellow cream. It can be used for the treatment of Epidermal Melasma, Benign Hyperchromic Lesions of the Epidermis, Superficial Wrinkles and Acne Sequels. The peel causes an increase in glycosaminoglycans, a polysaccharide that helps retain water in the skin. This causes an immediate increase in DERMAL TURGOR, which promotes an expan-sion of the skin volume, temporarily correcting surface wrinkles and flaccid skin. A slight epidermolysis (peeling) will occur after 48-72 hours, after which the skin will appear visibily renewed and fresh (as seen to the right). The increased dermal tur-gor will last for the next 45-90 days.
Acne treatment
We have unique acne program, which combines effective non-invasive acne therapies with a very high rate of success. Our non-Accutane based program uses light-based devices, Photodynamic Therapy, Phyto-peel and others. Using this unique combination of treatments for only three weeks, we can eliminate up to 80% of pimples and allow long term control over outbreaks.
Levulan Photodynamic Therapy
Levulan treatment involves three mechanisms of action against acne. It inactivates the bacteria that trigger acne, exfoliates the skin to unclog pores, and reduces sebaceous gland (oil producing glands) activity in the
skin. The fact that the sebaceous glands are targeted allows it to have a long lasting effect, even on severe acne. Levulan acne therapy can even work in patients who have failed Accutane. Other benefits: removing precancerous skin lesions, improving wrinkles, improving pores, improving skin texture, and sebaceous hyperplasia (oily bumps on the skin). See video to the left.
Zeno
Zeno is a perfect solution for a surprise pimple that shows up now and then. For the first time, you can take control of your skin and treat pimples the same day they appear. In an FDA-reviewed clinical trial, 90 percent of blemishes treated with Zeno demonstrated improvement or resolution within 24 hours.
Chemical superficial peel
Superficial peels remove skin cells from the epidermis (the top layer of the skin). These peels usually use combinations of alphahydroxy acids (AHAs) and betahydroxy acids (BHAs) (e.g. glycolic acid or salycilic acid). Treatment only takes a few minutes, and the effects on the overall look of the skin are seen to the right. As superficial peels only affect the top layers of the skin, regular treatments are needed to maintain the effect.
